Atira Cares Supports Angie Leasure and Make-A-Wish® Illinois

Atira Hotels is proud to highlight the impact of Atira Cares, our corporate giving program dedicated to supporting both our team members and the communities we serve.

This January, Atira Cares supported Angie Leasure, Area Director of Sales for Fairfield Inn & Suites Naperville/Aurora, TownePlace Suites Chicago/Naperville, and Residence Inn Kansas City Independence, as she participated in the Make-A-Wish® Illinois Penguin Plunge at Skydive Chicago. The event raises funds to help grant life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses.

This cause holds deep personal meaning for Angie and her family. In 2015, her stepson was diagnosed with a serious heart condition that significantly impacted his childhood. During that challenging time, Make-A-Wish stepped in to create an unforgettable experience that brought hope and joy to their family.

Reflecting on that impact, Angie shared:

“Make-A-Wish gave our family hope when we needed it most. They create magical moments for families facing serious illness, and I’m grateful to now give back to an organization that means so much to us.”
